Für IT und Betriebsrat
Stand: 3. November 2026 · English below
Was speichert Telll aus eurem Projekt-Tool?
Welche Rechte bekommt Telll beim Verbinden?
| Tool | Was ihr freigebt | Was Telll damit tut |
|---|---|---|
Telll fordert keine einzelnen Rechte an. |
Was geht an die KI?
- E-Mails (Anmeldecodes, Nachfragen): Resend, USA.
- Auswertung geschriebener Antworten: Anthropic, USA.

For IT and works councils
As of 3 November 2026 · Privacy policy
The questions IT, data protection and works councils ask about Telll, answered the way the code works today.
What does Telll store from your project tool?
- Per task: its name, column or status, due date, when it last changed, and who is assigned.
- Board and project names.
- For assigned people: their name, and their email address if the tool shares it.
- When a task changes column: from where to where, when, and who moved it if the tool says so. Plus an hourly snapshot of where every task stands.
Telll does not store descriptions, comments or attachments.
What access does Telll get?
| Tool | What you grant | What Telll does with it |
|---|---|---|
| Jira | Five scopes, all read only: see boards (read:board-scope:jira-software), see projects (read:project:jira), read issues (read:issue-details:jira), search issues (read:jql:jira), and keep access while nobody is signed in (offline_access). | Read calls only. Never creates, changes or deletes anything in Jira. |
| ClickUp | You pick the workspaces on ClickUp's own screen. Telll asks for no separate scopes. Access runs through the ClickUp account of the person who connects. | Read calls only. Never creates, changes or deletes anything in ClickUp. |
| Notion | You pick the pages and databases Telll may see on Notion's own screen. | Reads only. Search and database queries are reads in Notion. Never changes or deletes anything in Notion. |
| Trello | Read and write (read, write) for the Trello account of the person who connects, with no expiry. | Writes three things, only when someone hands in finished work through Telll: attach a link to the card, add a comment "Handed in via Telll by ...", and move the card one column on. Never creates cards, lists or boards, and never deletes. |
Who can connect a board?
In Telll, only the workspace owner. The grant itself is given on the tool's own screen, with that person's own account. Telll never sees a password.
What goes to the AI?
Only when someone answers a check-in in their own words. Then Anthropic (USA) gets today's date, the task name and the written answer. Nothing else: no names, no email addresses, no other tasks. The model turns it into a short, neutral status.
Tapping a button or picking a date in the calendar does not go to the AI.
Where is the data?
- Database: Supabase, servers in the USA.
- Website and app: Vercel, USA.
- Email (sign-in codes, check-ins): Resend, USA.
- Reading written answers: Anthropic, USA.
- Problem reports and the nightly backup: our own Google mailbox, USA.
Transfer basis: EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 44 to 46 GDPR).
How is the data protected?
- Access keys to your tools are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). If no key is set up on the server, Telll refuses to accept a connection at all.
- Each workspace sees only its own data. When a request has no clear workspace, Telll returns nothing.
- Sign-in by email with a one-time code that is valid for 10 minutes. No passwords.
- Each person can only see and answer their own check-ins, and only when signed in.
- The nightly backup is encrypted before it is emailed, and kept for 30 days.
What does a manager see about a person?
Telll asks about tasks. It gives no grade or score per person. Exactly what the owner sees:
- Answers: one short, neutral line per task, for example "Halfway, on track", with the name and the task. The dashboard does not show the exact words, but they are stored with the task. Two exceptions: if someone taps "blocked" and types a reason, the reason shows as typed. And a question to the manager is passed on as a question.
- No answer: anyone who has not answered a check-in for two days or more is listed by name, with the number of tasks and days.
- For the whole team: average reply time, share of check-ins answered, and how many people are not answering. These numbers are not shown per person.
- Hours: Telll estimates from card moves how much time a client took. Hours per person are off. They can only be switched on, on purpose, in Settings, by someone with write access to the workspace.
- Shared list: the list of stuck tasks that can be shared by link shows task, column and days, never names.
How do you disconnect and delete?
- Disconnect: in Telll, Settings, "Disconnect". The stored access keys are deleted at once. Only the record of who connected and when it stopped is kept. Your board stays as it is.
- To remove access completely, also remove Telll from the connected apps in your tool's settings.
- Delete: write to khaled@mervmarketing.com and we delete your workspace.
